Monthly Community Clean-Up — July 2026

Every last Saturday of the month, One Vision CBO brings together residents, youth groups, school children, and businesses for our Community Clean-Up Day — and July is no exception.

This month's clean-up will focus on three target areas:
1. Mwiki Market — clearing waste from the market area and surrounding drainage channels
2. Mwiki Stage to Mwiki Primary School corridor — sweeping and litter collection along this high-traffic pedestrian route
3. The old dumpsite near the water kiosk — final clearance and fencing of this site to prevent re-dumping

All residents are welcome and encouraged to join. Bring your own gloves if you have them — we will also have gloves and waste bags available for those who need them.

The clean-up runs from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We will break at 9:30 AM for a short refreshment and community dialogue session where residents can raise environmental concerns they want One Vision CBO to prioritise.

This is your neighbourhood. Let's keep it clean together.

Following the morning clean-up, we will hold a brief tree-watering and monitoring session for the trees planted in April — volunteers who want to stay for this are warmly welcome.
